Monday is the 50th day of school. All activities will be surrounded by the 50's era Feel free to stop by at 2:00 for milkshakes and bubble gum!
Friday we will celebrate Mrs. Wetula's last day. At 2:00 we will have a party to wish her well as she and her family relocate to Ohio. Please feel free to stop by! She would love a homemade card from each student! Please send them in on Friday.

Begin chapter 4, "Numbers through 10"
Phonics: Please practice 1st & 2nd quarter sight words. Index cards work
great. Please review letters & sounds at home.

Bible: Noah and the Ark, Tower of Babel
Bible Verse: Verse G
Science: Pumpkins
Handwriting: We will continue to work on correct letter formation &
line placement for the letters of the week.
Special Helpers/ Show & Tell: When your child is the special helper of the
day, they may bring in one item for show and tell. It must be
able to fit in your child's backpack and must be approved by
you. You child will have many opportunities to bring in something
to share. We go in ABC/Number order.

Raider the Retriever is our class "pet" (Shhh ... He is a stuffed animal!) Each weekend he will go home with a student and return him on Mnday The student will write all about their weekend in a notebook. Directions and a sample are in his canvas bag (dog house!). We will go in ABC order. Chase will take him home on 10/30
